Day One
Welcome to Tropical North Queensland!
After arriving into the Cairns airport, you’ll be transferred to our hotel in beautiful Palm Cove. Spend the afternoon settling in, relaxing by the pool, exploring the beach, or grabbing a drink along the waterfront.
In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner and meet the women who will be sharing this adventure with us.
Day Two
Great Barrier Reef Excursion
Today we’ll spend the day on the Great Barrier Reef. Cruise to the outer reef, snorkel among colorful coral and tropical fish, and experience one of Australia’s most famous natural wonders. An authentic Australian bbq lunch is included during the excursion.
After returning to Palm Cove, the evening is free for you to enjoy however you’d like. Relax at the hotel, walk along the beach, or enjoy dinner at one of Palm Cove’s many restaurants.
Day Three
Kuranda, Australian Wildlife & The Atherton Tablelands
This morning we’ll board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway and travel through rainforest-covered mountains to the village of Kuranda.
We’ll visit a wildlife park where you’ll have the chance to see koalas, hand-feed kangaroos and wallabies, and meet some of Australia’s most iconic animals. After exploring Kuranda, we’ll continue into the Atherton Tablelands for lunch at a local coffee plantation.
In the afternoon, we’ll search for platypus and keep an eye out for the rare Lumholtz’s tree kangaroo in the wild before checking into our accommodation in the Tablelands for the evening then enjoying dinner at a historic Queensland Pub.
Day Four
Millaa Millaa Falls, Daintree Rainforest & Port Douglas
After breakfast, we’ll visit the famous Millaa Millaa Falls, one of Queensland’s most photographed waterfalls.
From there, we’ll head north to explore the Daintree Rainforest and Mossman Gorge. Walk through one of the oldest rainforests on Earth, learn about the region’s unique ecosystem from indigenous tribesmen on the dreamtime walk, and experience another side of Tropical North Queensland.
In the evening, we’ll enjoy the sunset in Port Douglas where you are free to grab dinner or a drink before returning to Palm Cove for the night.
Day Five
Free Day, Cairns Night Markets & Farewell Dinner
Enjoy a free day in Palm Cove. Spend time at the beach, relax by the pool, book a spa treatment, shop, or simply enjoy the slower pace of tropical life.
In the evening, we’ll head into Cairns to explore the famous Night Markets, giving you time to pick up souvenirs and gifts before our farewell dinner. We’ll celebrate an incredible week together and share our favorite memories from the trip.
Day Six
Departure Day
Enjoy one last morning in Palm Cove before transferring to Cairns Airport for your flight home.
Extend Your Stay in Palm Cove
Start your trip in Paradise with an additional night in Palm Cove. Before the trip begins, relax along the beachfront, enjoy the cafes and restaurants along the palm-lined esplanade, and wake up to the laid-back atmosphere that makes Palm Cove one of Australia’s most beloved coastal destinations.
Extra Night in Cairns
Arriving a day early? Add an extra night in Cairns and enjoy a more budget friendly option before the group trip begins. It’s a great way to recover from a long flight, explore the Cairns waterfront and ease into vacation mode before transferring to Palm Cove.

Cancellation Policy
We know travel plans don’t always go as expected. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent, fair and respectful to both our travelers and the local partners who make these experiences possible.

Your reservation is considered pending until confirmed by Once You Wander. While pending, you may cancel at any time for a full refund. If a reservation cannot be confirmed all payments will be refunded in full.

Partially Refundable. The deposit is eligible for future trip credit, any additional payments are eligible for refund, less any payment processing fees, supplier penalties, and any unrecoverable expenses already incurred on your behalf.

Non-Refundable. At this point, all payments are non-refundable as accomadations, transportations, activites, and other trip arrangements have been secured with our suppliers and partners.

Additional refunds may be available. If your canceled spot is filled by another traveler, Once You Wander will make reasonable efforts to refund recoverable amounts, less the payment processing fees, and any unrecoverable costs incurred.

Travel Insurance may provide coverage for unexpected events including illness, injury, emergincies, weather disruptions, and other circumstances that may impact your travel plans.
